Warsaw - This noon, TVP confirms that Poland are finally returning after an 12 years of absence from the contest. They did also confirm that Polands national selection will be held on October 12th. This will be their 3rd time participating in the contest and also the first since their last participation back in 2004.
Poland had this repetition of being last in both of their participations back in 2003 and 2004 (scoring only 3 points). For the first contest, They had a national selection on September 28th called 'Junior Eurosong' which in their first edition chose 13 contestants to compete for the Polish ticket to Copenhagen. The second edition of this show on September 9th, had 12 contestants. Their show 'Junior Eurosong' might be revived for 2016.
Their first 'winner' in 2003 was Kasia Zurawik (12) from Konin (In Central Poland) and the song 'Cos mnie Nosi' (Something Bears Me), which you can watch a preview video of below:
