Dublin, Ireland - Irish broadcaster TG4 had announced today that their national selection will be on the 14th of November in an unknown venue (which will be revealed soon). As you did hear, hundreds of applicants have signed in to challenge of being Ireland's first ever representative at this big event! Ireland haven't been involved in this contest since the beginning. The rumors circulated that Ireland was to debut in the Junior Eurovision in Malta last year, but they had to decline due to that their fund was rejected by the BAI (Broadcasting Authority of Ireland). They also wanted to debut, but with RTÉ, but they declined to mark Ireland's debut.
