Helsinki - Finnish broadcaster YLE TV2 confirmed just today that they are talking with their executors about the interest in participation. Finland have never participated, but Finland was to participate in 2003, but instead did broadcast it. Finland has a national final it can use, but the participation in 2016 might be unsure because that the national final is almost always on the same month as the Junior Eurovision (if the contest takes place in November). Finland has never expressed an debut since 2003, even though its neighbours, Norway, Sweden and Russia do participate, but this year, just Russia (as Finland's neighbours) did participate. In Finland, Jacob Sunström won with Min Dröm (My Dream).
