Copenhagen - TV 2 says they are now looking for a entertainment director, but does this mean that the Danish participation is possible? Right after the 2015 edition, DR said no, because Jan Lagermand Lundme was critical about the contest being a copy of the adult Eurovision Song Contest, despite saying that the contest is fun, even if it was competition.
DR was responsible for their three participations before withdrawing completely in 2006. Their hosting back in 2003 was proved to be the most successful in Denmark's own contest history since their hosting of the 46th Eurovision Song Contest back in 2001.

Their first entrant in 2003 were a girl who became famous after her participation that year, who do we talk about? exactly, Anne Gadegaard with the song "Arabiens Drøm" (Arabia's dream or The dream of Arabia). The song finished in 5th place with 93 points.

Their second participation in 2004 featured a group called COOL KIDS and the song "Pigen er min". This also finished in the same position as in 2003, this time with 116 points.
Their latest participation in 2005 had improved their results, with a 4th place with 121 points. Then they were represented by Nicolai and the song 'Shake shake shake' (which is the only danish song to date to be translated as the same in English)
If TV 2 is saying yes to participation in 2016, then it's possible that they might use the widely popular show 'The Voice Junior'.
