Dublin, Ireland - On Facebook, a guy named Μαριος Μαυρος (Marios Mauros) gossiped on a photo published by the official page of Junior Eurovision Éire that a friend of his got told that Aimee was the winner of the Junior Eurovision Éire. You can see his comment below: Is this true or not? well, that we have to find out tonight at 21:30 CET!
Those who live outside Ireland, can watch it here. Dublin - Ireland has decided the second finalist, and its Aimee Banks and her song "Réalta na mara" (Star of the sea). Aimee states that her song is not only about a ship, but there is also a sad story behind the song. Aimee Banks will challenge against David Kennedy (for the moment) in the final. Next semi final will be held on the 25th of October. To all of you who missed out on the whole show, don't worry, our friends at ESC+Plus will publish the full show on YouTube in some day's time for you to re-watch. Here's the winning song of the second semi final: Here below, you can watch Garret Mullhall from our Irish friends at Eurovision Ireland interviewing the winner Aimee Banks: Amsterdam - After a spectacular voting, Shalisa will represent The Netherlands in Sofia, after getting 36 points in total from the Juries, the Kids Jury and the Public. Shalisa gets the Dutch ticket to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. This is the points allocated from the juries, Kids jury and the televoting;
1. Shalisa - Million Lights (12 + 12 + 12 = 36) 2. 4LIFE - You will know my name (10 + 8 + 10 = 28) 3. Amsterdam - Wie is het wonder? (Who is the wonder?) Well, that question is to be answered tonight, as the Junior Songfestival is going to take place. 5 songs and artists is to challenge for the Dutch ticket to Sofia, Bulgaria. The Netherlands hosted two Semi Finals, were only 2 could advance and 1 could get a wildcard. Here is the running order of the Dutch final: 1. Nohr - Ik ben mezelf (I am myself) 2. Myrthe - Kinderen van de zon (Children of the sun) 3. Guusje - Talk about love 4. Shalisa - Million Lights 5. 4LIFE - You Will Know My Name The winner will be decided by 33% Jury votes, 33% Kids Jury votes and 34% Televoting. The show will be hosted by Jan Smit, a Dutch pop musician and schlager singer and TV host. The Netherlands won once, in 2009, being represented by Ralf Mackenbach and his song "Click Clack" who got 121 points. You can Watch his performance from Kiyv 2009 below: Who do you think is going to win the Junior Songfestival tonight? Let us know in the comments below.
Zagreb - Croatian broadcaster HRT have announced to the admin of this blog that "The decision to take part at the the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 has not yet been made, however, we can inform you that the HRT's editorial bord is considering this possibility". but they added that "We believe that the final decision will be made in the following weeks, and we will inform the public.", but Croatian broadcaster have untill 9th of October to confirm their participation, as Vladislav Yakovlev stated for two days ago. The possibility is that two more countries could be entering, but it's not yet secure yet. Croatia did return to the competition after a pause since 2007. Their latest song was named "Game Over" sung by American-Croatian born Josie Zec. Croatia was the first country to win on their first try, while Italy is the latest, winning last year. You can watch the latest Croatian entry at Junior Eurovision below: Vaduz, Liechtenstein - Liechtenstein broadcaster 1FLTV confirmed in a message that they will not take part as a guest participant in Sofia this year, but further information about why they don't want to take part is yet to be known. Liechtenstein's brother countries Austria and Germany were asked in the past. Germany, who published a poll ended up with a huge wave of popularity on the 'Yes', but now, there seems to be a huge conflict between ARD, NRD, ZDF and KiKA. Austria, however, pulled out for unknown reasons. Below is the chat where 1FLTV announced their non-participation: Minsk - At 21:00 CET tonight, the Belarussian final will happen *somewhere* in Minsk. Belarus was the country who hosted the Junior Eurovision in 2010, where 14 countries fought for the victory, but which Armenia did win for the first time. Last year, Nadezhda Misyakova won the Belarussian final, but ended up at a 7th place in Malta with her song "Sokal" (Falcon). Here are the line-up: (The links will bring you to the videos of our friends at ESC+Plus) 1. Elizaveta Kozak and Elena Tovstik - Pozitivniy mir (Positive world) 2. Neskuchniy Vozrast - Dazhe yesli ty ne muzykant (Even if you're not a musician) 3. Angelina Vasilevskaya - Ty pover v mechtu (Believe in a dream) 4. Maria Novik - Shag za Shagom (Step by Step) 5. Zaranak - Zhizn' prekasna (Life is beautiful) 6. Aleksandr Mahankov - Samiye Krasivie (Most beautiful) 7. Maria Magilinaya - Taynu priotkryt (Reveal the secret) 8. Ruslan Aslanov - Volshebstvo (Sorcery) 9. Elizaveta 'Lisa' Muravyeva - Letutsennaya (Dreamy) 10. Zinaida Kupriyanovich - Mir (Peace) You can watch it here. Three participants is returning, and that's Maria Novak, who last performed at the 2011 Belarussian NF with the song "Solnechnaya pesenka", Zaranak who last performed at the 2012 Belarussian NF with Nadezhda Misyakova (last years Belarussian artist) collaborating on the song "Vot Tak!" and Ruslan Aslanov, who last time participated in the Belarussian final in 2013 with the song "Zvyozdy Zovut". Prishtina, Kosovo - Kosovan broadcaster RTK is recieving a invitation to participate in the Junior Eurovision 2015! If they say yes, the official participation will be handed over by the EBU. Kosovo isn't either a EBU member, Acociative member or a NATO member, so this would look unlikely, but Kosovo has gained interest in participating in the Eurovision since 2009, but was denied by the EBU ever since. Their 'had-to-be' contest called Akordët e Kosovës was taken off air for some years ago, because that Kosovo understood that Kosovo can't take part at Eurovision. If EBU finally say yes about a Kosovan debut, this would just be a one-off participation. Jerusalem, Israel | Tunis, Tunisia - Israeli broadcaster IBA had announced for some days ago that they will not be Returning for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, just taking part once (2012) With Kids.il and the song "Let The Music Win". The song ended on a dissapointing 8th of 12 entries With 68 Points. You can watch the live performance below: Another news is that since Israel denied a Return to the Junior Eurovision, a Tunisian debut would be possible (if they answer). Tunisian broadcaster ERTT will answer in due time, so it will be much waiting for the answer (it will take a week or two for them to answer).
